Rosemary A. Mackey

WARREN - Rosemary A. Mackey, 80, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026, just shy of her 81st birthday.

Born on August 14, 1945, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of the late Mauro and Rita Cornicello Tatalo. Rosemary led a life marked by devotion to her faith, her family, and her community.

Rosemary graduated from St. Mary High School. Her faith played a central role throughout her entire life, and she was a dedicated member of St. Mary Church. Rosemary’s commitment to her spiritual community was unwavering; she was active in the altar and rosary society and could often be found in quiet prayer, providing a steadfast example of devotion and kindness to those around her.

Throughout her career, Rosemary worked several years in the cafeteria for the Trumbull County Technical Center until her retirement.

Rosemary cherished gathering with her high school friends. Over the years, their periodic get-togethers provided her with much happiness and a lasting sense of camaraderie.

Rosemary’s greatest joy, however, was her family. Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Mara (Joel) Goldberg and Terrance Mackey  both of Warren, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Jayda, Joel, and Benjamin, each of whom brought joy and pride to her life. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Jo Napolet and Annette (Tom) Drummond, both of Warren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Terrance L. Mackey, with whom she shared 50 years of partnership and love; and sisters, Esther Nicastro and Nancy Fox.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Rd NE, Warren, OH 44483, on August 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m.
