Warren - Sam "Danny" Dann, 87, went to be with the Lord with his family by his side Saturday, February 28, 2015 at St. Joseph Health Center. He was born July 13, 1927 in Warren, Ohio the son of the late Solomon and Christina Dann. Sam retired in 1989 from LTV as a crane operator after 32 years. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and previously was a member at SS. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church for 50 years. Sam was strong with his faith and enjoyed fishing, hunting, yard work and especially loved his family. He is survived by his wife Barbara Dann whom he married October 3, 1953, two daughters Linda (David) Gilmore of Howland, and Renee Dann of Niles, four grandchildren Jenna (Jason) Stan, Randy (Nicole) Keller, Jr., Ryan (Courtney) Keller and Rachele Keller and two great grandchildren Austin and Addison Keller. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Daniel D. Dann, two brothers Vaslie and Roman Dann Sr, and three sisters Valeria Zubek, Martha Barnabo and Rose Phiefer. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son memorial Chapel and Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church with Rev. Thomas Eisweirth officiating and James P. Walker Concelebrating.
