Niles - Sandra J. "Sawney" Rose, 76, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Hospice House in Poland. She was born September 11, 1937 in Warren, Ohio the daughter of Arthur L. and Josephine Crum. Sandra was a 1955 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, crocheting and watching classic TV shows, . She is survived by her children Paula Stumpo of McDonald, OH, Mary Kay (Stephen) Yanovich of Niles and Stephanie (Thomas) Sudik of Niles, four grandchildren Paul, Maria and Nicole Stumpo and Thomas D. Yanovich, sister Elaine (Robert Bender of Howland, a sister-in-law Rita Dusza of Howland and her companion Eddie, a Jack Russell Terrier. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul A. Rose whom she married August 8, 1957 and passed away January 7, 2000 and a sister Carolyn C. Boyle. Family and friends may call Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren and Monday from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose Church in Girard. A Mass of Christian burial will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose Church in Girard with Rev. MSGR. John A Zuraw officiating. Entombment will be in Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
