Hudson, Ohio - Sandy L. Leopardi, 62, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016 at Akron City Hospital. She was born October 23, 1953, Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late Edwin and Ruth Gracyk. She was a graduate of Joseph Badger High School and went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University in Ohio. Although Sandy was primarily a homemaker, she previously worked as an educator of students with learning disabilities.. She was of the Catholic Faith and adored spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed making crafts, sewing, cooking and baking. Her brownies were amazing and even brought her a first place win at the Trumbull County Fair. She is survived by her husband James A. Leopardi whom she married on August 11, 1984, two sons James A. Leopardi Jr., and John T. Leopardi both of Hudson, and a brother Edwin (Mary) Gracyk of Gustavus. She is preceded in death by her parents. Family and friends may call Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church on High St. in Warren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev.
