Obituary

Shirley Ann Dean, 70, of Leavittsburg, passed away Tuesday, August 05, 2014 at 7:00 a.m. in her home.

Shirley was born on November 2, 1943 in Warren the daughter of the late John and Mary (Bodnar) Balog.

Shirley was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church and retired from Packard Electric Company.

Shirley was married to Roger L. Dean and preceded her in death on June 6, 2009.

Shirley is survived by a son Roger J. Dean of Cortland; three brothers Tony Yakus of Warren, George Yakus of Arizona, John Kresen of Warren; and two sisters Julia Lawrence of Niles and Mary Baker also of Niles.

Besides her husband and parents, Shirley was preceded in death by a sister Helen Fasulo

Calling hours will take place on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m in the Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home, where a Panichida Service will take place at 4:30 p.m.

A Funeral Service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 8, 2014 with Fr. Andrew Deskevich officiating in Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church preceded by closing prayers to be recited at 10:00 a.m. Friday in the funeral home prior in leaving for the church.

Burial will take place in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Lordstown.
