Newton Falls - Stephanie Perisa, 75, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Laurie Ann Nursing Home. She was born October 15, 1939, in Sharon, PA, the daughter of the late Vincent and Anna Perisa. She was a 1957 graduate of Brookfield High School. Stephanie retired from St. Joseph Health Center as a Medical Assistant after 10 years and had previously worked at Copperweld Steel Corporation and Goldstein's Furniture in the Eastwood Mall. She was a member of St. Mary's Church. She enjoyed crafts, baking, growing flowers especially roses and spending time with her grandchildren. Stephanie was also a Breast Cancer Survivor. She is survived by her children Stacie Franks of Cortland, Steven (Bonnie) Hover of Warren, Lisa Emerson of Warren and Candice (Mark) Castro of Warren, nine grandchildren Josh (Marine Corp.) Jamie and Leah Franks, Nick Hover, Rachel Emerson, Stephanie, Anthony and Natalie Castro, Ashley (David) Bowes, six great grandchildren Landon, Annabelle, Davey, Kennedy, Cole and Colby two brothers Vincent Perisa of Hubbard and Dennis (Kathy) Perisa of Fowler and three sisters Carole Esmond of Cincinnati, Gina (Chuck) Ash of Fowler and Lori (Lonnie) Sivey of Columbus. She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Stan Hover Sr, one brother Garice and three sisters Margie, Jeannie and Joanne. A Private Service will be held Sunday with Rev. Bernard Schmalzried officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 18884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483. Burial will be in Meadow Brook Cemetery in Champion.
