Warren - Stephen R. Augusta, 72, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the Hospice House in Poland after a two month battle with cancer. He was born October 19, 1941 in Warren, Ohio the son of the late Steve and Ann Augusta. Stephen was a 1959 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. He retired from Packard Electric as a welder after 30 years. He was of the Catholic Faith. He enjoyed yard work, his dogs "Vinnie" and "Chrissy and going to Mountaineer. Stephen served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his brothers Don Augusta of Southington and Robert D. Augusta of Cortland, his companion for 30 years Bernice Joseph of Niles, two nephews Brandon Wine and David Augusta, and three nieces Debbie Hull, Lauren Wine and Nichole Augusta. He is preceded in death by his parents. A private service was held Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. Burial was in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
