North Ridgeville - Susan "Sue" Storey, 84, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at St. John's Medical Center in Westlake, Ohio. She was born October 13, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of John and Inez DeMitchell. Sue was co-owner with her husband Bob at Omega Induction on South St. in Warren. She was a member of St. Peter & Paul Byzantine Church in Warren. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, knitting, was an avid bowler and being with her children and grand children. She is survived by her children Robert E. (Lisa) Storey of Orlando, FL., Dr. Diane (James) Storey-Blumenthal of Key Largo, FL., Patricia "Pat" (James) Gumina of Long Island, NY and Peggy Sinkovich of North Ridgeville. Seven grandchildren Megan (David) Workley, Richard Diaz and Jacqueline (Lindsey Mewes)Diaz, Robert Sinkovich, Shana (Justin), Robert (Nicole) Storey, Julie (David) Laird three great grandchildren Natalie, Brennan and Madison, and one sister Irma Bartlett of Olmstead, Falls. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert M. "Bob" Storey whom she married September 4, 1950 and passed away January 17, 2011, and two sisters Mary Fairchild and Dora Shaffer. Family and friends may call Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. Service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter & Paul Byzantine Church with Fr. Andrew Deskevich officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Peter & Paul Byzantine Church 180 Belvedere Ave. NE, Warren, Ohio 44481 or to the Animal Welfare League 545 Brunstetter Rd. SW, Warren, Ohio 44481.
