Niles - Sylvia P. Florea, 92, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at Autumn Hill Care Center in Niles. She was born July 15, 1922 in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late Peter and Anna Popa. Sylvia retired from Packard Electric as an inspector after 43 years. She was a member of Holy Resurrection Romanian Orthodox Church where she was very active especially in fund raising for the Church. She enjoyed baking, and flower gardens. She is survived by her son Peter Florea of Charlotte, NC, and a grandson Jonathan J. Florea of Charlotte, NC. She preceded in death by her parents, husband John Florea whom she married August 4, 1943 and passed away February 26, 1985, and son Dr. John Florea Jr. Family and friends may call Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Holly Resurrection Romanian Orthodox Church. Service will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Church with Fr. James Barkett officiating. Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery in Warren.
