Howland – Sylvia Siska, 80, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at St. Joseph Health Center.

She was born June 3, 1936, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Surin.

She was a 1954 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and attended Kent State University for two years. For the last 40 years, she was Real Estate Agent for numerous agencies. Presently she was with the William Zamarelli Realtors. Sylvia was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Warren, and a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She enjoyed watching football, basketball, and golf on TV and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

She is survived by Thomas Siska of Cincinnati & Chicago, and Timothy Siska of Warren, OH & Philadelphia, PA, Aunt Margaret Gnat of Warren, and numerous cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband Robert J. Siska who she was married to for 25 years, and a sister Joanne Bench.

Family and friends may call Thursday 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE Warren, Ohio 44483.

A service will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Fr. Simeon B. Sibenik Officiating.

Burial will be in St. Peter & Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sylvia's name to Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, 180 Belvedere Ave. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
