Teresa S. Maki, 86, died Friday, April 13, 2012, at her residence.

She was born Oct. 4, 1925, in Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of Stephen and Mary Walsh Sick.

Teresa was a retired teacher and a member of St. Williams Catholic Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara M. Bayus of Champion and Mary E. Williams of Bristolville; a brother, Paul Sick of Buffalo; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Olavi M. Maki; a son, Stephen P. Maki; a brother; and a sister.

In accordance with Teresa's wishes, there will be no services. Cremation has taken place.
