Obituary

Warren – Terrence Matthew “Terry” Hall, 72, of Warren, passed away Saturday afternoon, October 17, 2026, at Select Specialty Hospital in Akron, surrounded by his loving family.

Born November 5, 1953, in Youngstown, Ohio, Terry was the son of the late Thomas Albert Sr. and Dolores Pauline (Semko) Hall.

A 1972 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, Terry graduated with honors and was a member of the National Honor Society. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from Youngstown State University before attending National Chiropractic College, now known as National University of Health Sciences, where he completed his chiropractic education. Terry went on to a career as a chiropractor and took great pride in caring for his patients. His faith was an important part of both his life and his work, and he believed God worked through him as he served and cared for others.

Outside of his profession, Terry enjoyed woodworking, drawing, music, crocheting, and building his own guitars. His crocheting earned him an award at the Canfield Fair for a double-layered blanket stitch. He also enjoyed hiking, a love that began in childhood when he would take hikes with the family dog, Eric.

Terry was well known for his storytelling and loved sharing the adventures and experiences of his life. He often spoke of someday putting those stories into a book. While that book was never completed, he did write a personal journal about his life. He wanted his children to know him not only as their father, but also as the man he was beyond that role, and most importantly, to know how deeply he loved them.

Terry will be remembered by his wife and best friend, Marsha Gustovich Hatcher Hall; his children, Tina (Donald) Bryant, Andy (Dana) Hall, and Matthew Hall; his stepson, the late Ryan J. Hatcher, and Ryan’s partner, Courtney Kutsch.

He is fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Andrew, Emily, Jacob (Nikki), Eric (Taylor), Madison (Madie), Amanda, Samuel, Noah, Hannah, Logan, Riley, and Peyton; and his great-grandchildren, Dean, Stiles, and Rory.

He also leaves behind his siblings, Tom Hall Jr. (Ellen), Sharon (Tom) Meenachan, Deborah (Joe) Yuhoss, Brian Hall (Qiuhong Wang), Laurel (Michael) Stacy, and Stephanie Hall.

Terry will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his stepson, Ryan J. Hatcher; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Mike Gustovich; his nephew, Marcus Williams; and his niece, Erica Scott.

Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Terry on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel of Warren, 1884 North Road NE. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m.
