Warren – Theresa L. Young, 83, of Warren passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 at St. Joseph Health Center E.R. She was born October 6, 1930 in Frostburg, MD. the daughter of Hugh and Matilda Monahan. Theresa came to Warren in 1955. She was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (SS. Cyril and Methodius Church). She enjoyed cooking and bingo. She is survived by her two daughters Brenda Proverbs of Niles, and Linda (PJ) Notar of Warren, five grandchildren Ian (Shannon), Megan and Oliver Proverbs, Alexis and Michael Notar, and a sister Evelyn (Lloyd) Coffman of West Virginia. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Laten Young whom she married June 11, 1955 and passed away February 10, 1987, a son Timothy Young, three brothers and three sisters. Family and friends may call Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish (SS. Cyril and Methodius Church). A Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. following the calling hours at the church with Rev. James P. Walker officiating. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Bazetta.
