Thomas R. Hlaudy, 76, of Warren, entered into eternal life on Saturday, March 14, 2015 in his home of a sudden heart attack.
Born November 13, 1938 in Warren, Ohio, Tom was the son of the late Stanley and Kathryn (Hlaudy) Golembowski and was a lifelong area resident.
Tom was retired as a truck driver with Ajax Magnethermic in Warren and also worked for Sam Gorden Trucking on North Park in Warren. He belonged to the local Teamsters and the Slovak Club. He loved to garden and enjoyed frequenting the many local taverns in Warren over the years.
Tom is survived by his wife the former Irene C. Mannas of Warren; three children Thomas Todd of Bakersfield, CA; Brett William (Denise) of Cuyahoga Falls and Robert Scott also of Bakersfield, CA; two brothers Randy Golembowski of Howland and Stanley "Stan" (Janet) Golembowski of N. Bloomfield; three sisters Rochelle (Harry) Morrow of Champion, Rita (Mike) Markowski of Warren and Ruth Golembowski of Warren; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and his pet canine companion Cayenne.
Besides his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a brother Donald Golembowski.
Calling hours will take place on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home, 727 E. Market St., Warren, Ohio 44481.
Services will begin with closing prayers to be recited at 9:20 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered, with Fr. Bernard R. Schmalzried officiating, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church in Warren.
Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.
As a sign of sympathy and condolence, the family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Tom's name to the Animal Welfare League 812 Youngstown Kingsville Road SE, Vienna, Ohio 44473.
