Warren – Tsambika "Becky" Kalogerou, 72, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Akron City Hospital.

She was born March 27, 1944, in Koskinou, Rhodes Greece the daughter of the late John and Margaret Aivazis.

Becky came to Warren in 1954 from Greece. She was a 1962 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She retired from Trumbull Memorial Hospital as a seamstress in the Laundry Department after 30 years. She was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren. She enjoyed cooking, baking, hosting gatherings, traveling, and enjoying her Greek Heritage. Her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Steve D. Kalogerou who she married July 21, 1968, three children Argera "Argie" (George) Makroglou of Cortland, Margaret (George) Gesouras of Columbus, and John (Dr. Cara) Kalogerou of Cortland, seven grandchildren Dino, Nonda, Stefano, Anna, Addison, Chloe and Stefano, , a sister Argera "Jill" (John) Vrontos of Howland, three brothers Michael "Mike" (Kitsa) Aivazis, Gus (Cindy) Aivazis, and Steve (Patricia) Aivazis all of Howland, a brother-in-law Nick (Vivi) Kalogerou of Warren, and a sister-in-law Evelyn Skopas of Warren.

Family and friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 5:00 p.m.    Trisagion service and Thursday from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.

A service will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Tsambika's name to the New Church Building Fund at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 429 High St. Warren, Ohio 44481.
