Warren – Tula Ahladis, 87, formerly of Warren passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Gillette Nursing Home. Tula was born September 14, 1926 in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of Elias and Mary Lampros. She was a graduate of Youngstown Rayan High School. She was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Fourni Club, and the Acardians Club. Tula enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, baby sitting and her pets. She loved playing piano and as a youngster she played at Stambaugh Auditorium. She is survived by her three children Angie (George) Bournias of Warren, Louis Ahladis of Warren, and Anthony (Laurie) Ahladis of Coral Springs, FL., five grandchildren Tula (John) Laos and Michael Ahladis of Athens Greece, Kaitlin (Josh) Goody of Columbus, Terry Bournias of Warren, and Alexander Ahladis of Tallahassee, FL., three great grandchildren Nickolas, and Scenia Laos and Jacob Michael Goody, and two sisters Helen Hart of Chicago, ILL., and Tina Valantasis of Campbell, She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Michael Ahladis whom she married June 29, 1947 and passed away July 22, 1993, a son Nicholas Ahladis and one sister Melba Revelas Family and friends may call Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 5:00 p.m. Trisagion Service and Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A Service will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church with Fr Constantine Valantasis officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Tula's name to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 429 High St., Warren, Ohio 44481.
