Cortland – Vera N. Rovini, 92, of Warren passed away on Monday morning, April 15, 2024, with her family by her side at Lake Vista Assisted Living in Cortland.

Vera was born on May 18, 1931, in Warren, OH, daughter of Joseph and Adalgisa "Ada" (Rossi) Venetta aka "Venettacci."

Vera was a graduate of Warren G, Harding High School and went on to work as a bookkeeper for Venetta Income Tax Service for 15 years.

Outside of work and in addition to being a proud homemaker, Vera was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish in Cortland. She enjoyed cooking and travelling but, most of all, cherished her family. Vera will be deeply missed by all who knew loved and knew her.

Vera will always be remembered by her son, Gary N. (Mary Beth) Rovini of Cortland, Kathy (Gary) Upshir of Cortland, Roger J. Rovini of Cortland, and Robert M. Rovini of Cortland; six beloved grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Vera was preceded in death by her husband 43 years, Nello Rovini; sister, Mary Forlini and brothers, Neno Venetta and C. M. "Joe" Venetta M.D..

A private family service was held at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel of Warren, 1884 North Road NE.

The Rovini family would like to thank Ohio Living Lake Vista and the Staff for all the loving care they showed Vera and her family.
