Veronica Veselich, 98, formerly of Champion, entered into eternal life on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 3:57 a.m. at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland.

Veronica was born on June 22, 1917 in Ambridge, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Anton and Irene (Ruttner) Bulkovich and came to this area in 1951.

A homemaker, Mrs. Veselich was a member of St. William Parish in Champion and belonged to the Ladies Guild of the church.  She enjoyed cooking and traveling.

Veronica was united in marriage to Peter P. Veselich Sr. on January 25, 1936 and they were married for 60 years until his passing on July 21, 1996.  Together they shared the love on three sons Peter P. (Carol) Veselich Jr. of Rotonda West, Fl, Robert J. (Margaret) Veselich of Champion and Richard A. (Elke) Veselich of Bowie, MD; and five grandchildren and 6 great grandchild.

Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Veselich was preceded in death by a granddaughter Nicole Veselich; two brothers William and Albert Bulkovich and two sisters Margaret Soltis and Kathryn Woolonich.

Calling hours will take place on Friday, August 7, 2015 from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. in the Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home.

A graveside service will take place on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. in the Economy Cemetery, 1690 Ridge Road Ext., Ambridge, PA 15003 with Fr. James Kurtz, pastor of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ambridge, officiating.

The family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Mrs. Veselich's name be directed to Hospice of the Valley.
