Warren - Victor V. Marchese, Sr. 89, of Warren passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 at St. Joseph Health Center. Victor was born January 29, 1924 in Niles, Ohio the son of Peter and Angeline Marchese. He was a graduate of Niles High School and attended Youngstown State. Victor moved to Warren in 1951 and retired in 1986 as an independent brick layer for over 40 years. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Parish (St. James Church), International Bricklayers and Allied Craft Makers Local Union #8, National Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craft Makers. Victor enjoyed spending time with family. Victor served in the U.S. Navy during WW-II. He is survived by his wife Yolanda Marchese whom he married May 3, 1946, three children Victor Marchese, Jr. of Warren, Richard (Janice) Marchese of Butler, TN., and Patricia Marchese of Warren, seven grandchildren Lori (Patrick) Bell, Melissa (Nathan) Russo, Richard, Jr., Christopher and Lisa Marchese, Shanna (Michael) Benson and Gabrielle Hawk, five great grandchildren and a sister Mary Jones of Niles. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers Guy, Felix, Anthony and William Marchese, and three sisters Gloria Shver, Pauline Corso and Angie DeSantis. Family and friends may call Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Parish (St. James Church) with Rev. Jeffery Stealey officiating. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
