Viola "Vi" Chryst, 87, of Cortland passed away at 2:25 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015 in the coronary care unit at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Vi was born on November 17, 1927 in Campbell, Ohio the only child of the late Joseph and Mary (Miller) Vince.

A quality control officer for Ohio Lamp General Electric, Vi retired in 1994 after 44 years of service.

She enjoyed BINGO and going to Mountaineer Park in West Virginia.

Vi is survived by one son Raymond R. Chryst II of Cortland; two grandsons Andrew and Ryan Chryst and a granddaughter Kyle Chryst.

In keeping with Vi's wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service.

A caring cremation will take place under the direction of the Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home and inurnment will take place in Tod Homestead Cemetery in Youngstown.
