Obituary

Virginia E. Voytek, 85, of Southington, entered into eternal life with her family at her side on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 9:05 a.m. at Cortland Health Care Center under the comforting care of hospice.

Virginia was born on April 11, 1930 in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late John S. and Veronica (Grunick) Ondrejko.

Virginia retired in 1993 after working for 20 years from the Warren City Schools where she worked as an executive secretary in the Principal's Office.  During her tenure she worked at Turner and West Junior Buildings.

Virginia was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Mary's Church in Warren and was an avid stamp collector.

Virginia was united into marriage on April 11, 1953 to Matthew J. Voytek Jr. and they were married for 46 years until his passing on February 23, 2000.

She will always be remembered by three children Matthew J. (Lisa) Voytek III of Cortland; Kenneth P. (Lorrie) Voytek of Marriottsville, MD; and Debra (Fred) Suhre of Ellwood City, PA; and five grandchildren Natalie, Steven, Matthew IV, Robert and Madeline.

Besides her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by five sisters Helen Muko, Ann Polcha, Mary Minix, Betty Ondrejko and Margaret Jurkowski and six brothers George, Charles, John, Frank, Thomas and Leonard Ondrejko.

A time of visitation will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. followed by closing prayers to be recited at 9:30 a.m. in the Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home prior in leaving for the church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Bernard R. Schmalzried officiating in St. Mary's Church with burial to follow in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.

The family suggests that memorial contributions take the form of donations in Virginia's name to Harbor Light Hospice, 25 S. Main Street Suite #7, Munroe Falls, Ohio 44262.
