Warren - Wanda Lombardi, 92, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014. She was born April 15, 1921 in Warrensburg, NY., the daughter Iselin and Oressa Prosser Brayton. Wanda came to Warren in 1941. She retired from Clyde Cole Cadillac on E. Market St. as an Office Manager after 30 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and Penn Ohio Polka Pals Boosters. Wanda enjoyed dancing, traveling and quilting. She is survived by her four children Ross J. "Sonny" (Susan) Lombardi of Warren, Barbara A. "Bobbie" Petiya of Howland, Josephine "Jo" (Ronnie) Chalker of Howland and Toni (Gary) O'Malley of Howland, seven grandchildren Anthony (Michelle), David (Erika), Debbie (Sean), Katie, Jessica (Gary), Kelli and Molly, seven great grandchildren, two sisters Norma Baertschi of Lake George, NY., Cheryl (Paul) Lamparella of Rochester, NY., and a brother-in-law Sam Lanza of Warren. She is preceded in death by her parents, stepmother Dorothy Brayton, husband Joseph "D.D." Lombardi whom she married December 1, 1942 and passed away August 4, 2005, son-in-law Eugene Petiya and two brothers Paul and Jerry Brayton. Family and friends may call Monday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church with Rev. Bernard Schmalzried officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Warren, Ohio.
