Willard Zokosky, 97, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at Community Skilled Care Center. Willard was born May 4, 1915, in Pittsburgh, the son of Samuel and Mary Gerey Zokosky. Willard served in the U.S. Army Corps during World War II. He retired from Republic Steel Co., and was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church. Survivors include a brother, Peter Zokosky of Long Beach, Calif.; and a sister, Anna Couch of Niles. Preceding him in death were his wife, Stella Lesak Zokosky; a brother; and two sisters.

Services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church, preceded by a 9 a.m. prayer service at Sinchak & Sons Funeral Home. Calling hours will be at 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
