She spent 18 years sewing men's suits at Pennshire in Philipsburg. PA including suits for Sammy Davis Jr. Her most proud accomplishment was creating and copywriting a puppet pattern which was printed by the Butterick Pattern Co. Alice made puppets for many churches and sold her pattern online and in Bible bookstores.
Alice was baptized into Christ May 21, J974 and was a member of Churches of Christ in Clearfield, Cortland, and most recently Columbiana. She was also a member of the Mahoning Valley (Machine) Knitters Guild.

Quincy, Harper, Leon, Isabell and Elwood Bailey as well as sisters Christine Hamer and Katherine (Glenn) Wilkes and a brother Thomas (Jackie) Hynd and many nieces and nephews.
