Alicia Caruso Obituary

Champion - Alicia M. Caruso, 38, a very loving mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, neice and dear friend to all, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in her home in Champion, OH.

She was born July 2, 1980, in Warren, Ohio, to the parents Alec A. Caruso and Chris Shaffer.

She attended Champion High School and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in Marketing, from Kent State University in 2003.

Alicia was a true testament to how a person should be. If her beautiful eyes and smile didn't grab your attention, her charismatic goofy snorting laugh most certainly did.

She had such a loving, caring, compassionate and all around infectious personality. Her work ethic was unparalleled. In her time at Frito Lay, not only did she excell to the top, while achieving the Winning with Pride award and District Sales Leader of the Year award, she also helped her employees rise to the top and achieve sales excellence awards of their own. She had an astounding ability to bring out the best in everyone. Outside of work she had a passion for adventure. She enjoyed music, concerts, loved to dance, cookouts, traveling, and going to sporting events. She had an unconditional love and commitment to her family and friends. Alicia's most prided passion was her 4 beautiful daughters and granddaughter she leaves behind to carry on her legacy. She sought to instill in them a zest for life and a strong sense of duty to be harkworking, loving, nurturing, dedicated, independent women. Alicia's demeanor won the trust and hearts of so many. The memory of her all-around joy for life, contagious smile and laughter, pursuit of happiness, and open heart and home will never be forgotten.

Alicia is survived by her four loving daughters, Sabrina Caruso, Alexa Stoops, Adrianna Stoops, and Savannah Stoops, all of Champion; grandchild, Elliana Mack of Champion; father, Alec Caruso of Champion; mother, Chris (Ron) Shaffer of Newton Falls; sister, Brittany O'Brien of Newton Falls; brother, Alec (Ashley Christie) Caruso II of Champion; and nephew, Antonio Caruso of Champion.
