Angeline "Angie" Grant

Canal Fulton, Ohio – Angeline “Angie” Grant, 60, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Pebble Creek in Akron.

            She was born September 30, 1957 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of George and Vaia Costianes.

            She was a 1975 graduate of Warren G. Harding Panthers High School and had attended Youngstown State University for 3 years. She retired in 2006 from the Warren City Schools System as a secretary to special education department for 19 years. Angie was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Warren, where she was the organist for the Church for several years. She was also a member of the Western Reserve Ceramic Club, GOYA, Maids of Athens, Tsintzinian Society and Junior Crafts. She was an accomplished pianist and won several awards in ceramics. She loved to cook and to can.

            She is survived by her husband Paul K. Grant, three children Peter (Lindsay) Sfikas, George (Ashley) Sfikas, and Vicci Sfikas all of Warren, two stepchildren Jacob (Nichole) Grant of Dalton, OH, and Silas Grant of Massillon, OH, seven grandchildren, two sisters Georgia (Markos) Ramfos of Athens, Greece, and Joanna (Fr. Nik) Ferencz of Pittsburgh, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

            She is preceded in death by her parents.

            Family and friends may call Sunday April 29, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with 3:15 p.m. Trisiagon Service and Monday, April 30, 2018 from 12:00 to 12:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.

            A service will be Monday, April 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church with the Rev. Fr. Constantine Valantasis officiating.

            Burial will be in Canal Fulton, OH.

            In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Angie’s name to the Tsintzinian Society 113 Jackson Ave. Jamestown, NY. 14701.
