Ann Ceglia Obituary

Ann D. Ceglia, 93, formerly of Warren, passed away at her daughters’ house in Venice, Florida on Sunday, July 28th, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Ann was born on January 4th, 1931 in Campbell, OH, a daughter of Andrew and Anna Klanica.

She was a 1949 graduate of Wilson High School and went on to work as an employee of ACE Lumber in Youngstown Ohio. Followed by being a receptionist for a doctor, and finished her career in retail at TJ Max until she retired in her 70s.

Outside of work, Ann was a proud and meticulous homemaker. She loved polka music and shopping and was dedicated to her Catholic faith as a founding member of St. Pius Church in Warren and member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Most of all, she cherished her family. Ann will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Ann will always be remembered by her children, Andrew (Carmella) Ceglia of Venice, FL, Georgann (Ted) Stoian of Warren, OH, George Ceglia of Warren, OH and Kimberly Ceglia of Venice, FL; grandchildren, Nicholas (Jennifer) Stoian, T.Jay (Katie) Stoian, Ryan Ceglia and Ashley Ceglia and five beloved great grandchildren, Mason, Kinlsey, Ronin, Matilda and Mina.

Besides her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her brothers, John Klanica, George Klanica, and sisters Mary Bondi and Helen Sinchak.

Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Ann on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024 from 10:00 am until 10:50 am at St. Mary and Joseph Church, 232 Seneca Ave NE, Warren, where a Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am with Fr. Raymond Thomas presiding.

Burial will follow at Howland Township Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation for the quality of care that was provided by Ohio Living Greater Youngstown of Warren Ohio and Tidwell Hospice of Venice Florida.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ann’s name to either Ohio Living Greater Youngstown or Tidwell Hospice.
