Anna Root

Anna Root, 99, of Cuyahoga Falls, died Saturday morning, November 22, 2025 at her home.

She was born June 14, 1926 in Warren, Ohio. She married Edgar "Skip" on June 3, 1950. They lived in Champion Township for many years before moving to Cuyahoga Falls to be near their family.

Anna retired in 1988 from Ohio Lamp with 41 years of service. She loved to travel with her husband, Skip. They enjoyed taking many cruises and saw many countries through the years. In her later years, she enjoyed playing bingo and dominoes with her friends. Her family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Cardinal Village and her dear friend, Wilda.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Edgar. She is survived by her one son Ronald (Patricia) Root. Three grandchildren Heather (Chris) Brown, Kevin (Patrice) Root, and Chris (Katie) Root; five great-grandchildren Kai and Isla Brown and Riley, Elliot, and Jameson Root.

Per her request there will be no services. Her family will celebrate her life at a later date.

Entombment will be in the Pineview Memorial Park mausoleum.
