Anna Mae Stehnach Obituary

Warren – Anna Mae (Popp) Stehnach, 90, fell asleep in the Lord on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Humility House in Austintown.

Anna Mae was born in Homer City, PA to the late John and Anna (Suwolitch) Popp and was the seventh of thirteen children.

Anna Mae married the love of her life, Paul, in September of 1961 and had four children. Besides her love for her family, especially her grandchildren, she loved her Orthodox faith and sang in the church choir for almost 50 years at St. John’s in Warren.

She is survived by her son, Paul Vadim (Kathy) of Canfield; daughter, Nadine Sedall of Boardman; two granddaughters, Stephanie (Jared) Senvisky and Courtney (Nicholas) Perry; two great grandsons, Benjamin and Louie; a sister, Elaine Walker and many nieces and nephews and family members.

Besides her parents and other siblings, Anna Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, and two sons, Michael and Jonathan.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 4pm to 5:30pm

at St. John's Orthodox Church, 2220 Reeves Rd NE, Warren, OH 44483, followed by a Parastas Service at 5:30pm.

The Funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 9:30am at the church, with Rev. Brian Crivella officiating.

A burial service will be held at 1:30pm on Wednesday at St. John’s Orthodox Church Cemetery in East Taylor Township, PA, just north of Johnstown, with the V. Rev. George Jonson officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff of Humility House in Austintown for their loving care and “patience” these last four months; especially her “favorite” aide, Stephanie. Also, they would like to thank Hospice of the Valley for their kind assistance and care during Anna Mae’s last six weeks.
