Warren – Anthony J. (Iacovoni) Yaugo, 88, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024, at his residence.
Anthony was born May 1, 1935, in Warren, Ohio, the son of Anthony and Mary (Colciaghi) Yaugo.
Anthony retired in 1997 from the cold strip department of WCI where he worked for 20 years.
He previously owned and operated Mahoning Avenue Hairstyling Salon and spent time traveling in Europe, improving his skill.
He enjoyed Formula One racing, reading and studying his Bible, and all sports. He was also an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Warren G. Harding Raider fan.
His Christian faith was extremely important to him, and he spent time in the Word daily. He also proudly served our Country in the United States Air Force from January 7, 1954 through October 23, 1957.
Anthony is survived by his sister, Cheryl, of Cortland, nephew, Jeff Benton (Joslyn) of Scottsdale, Arizona, a great nephew and niece, Damon and Hannah, and a great, great nephew, Casen, as well as numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Elaine Benton.
A private family service and burial was held. Interment took place at Crownhill Burial Park in Vienna, Ohio
