Cecilia C. Zamarelli

Canal Winchester – Cecilia C. Zamarelli, 85, of Lancaster and formerly of Warren passed away on Sunday morning, March 17, 2024.

Cecilia was born on August 2, 1938 in Eagle Colorado. She was the daughter of Perfecto and Avelina Cruz. She had one sister, Virginia, whom she loved dearly.

Cecilia, known to her friends and family as, “Cha-Cha,” was a fun loving, positive woman, whose love knew no limits. Her husband, James Zamarelli was the light of her life and she mourned his loss from the day he left this earth in December 2010 until they were reunited again, in heaven on Sunday morning. Now they can, once again, share their love of music and dancing together forever. Their love of music and dancing is once again at the center of their existence.

Her sons, Joey Zamarelli (Angela Maze) and James Zamarelli will miss her jovial spirit that always uplifted them. Her grandchildren, Abigail Zamarelli, Aynsley Zamarelli, Nicholas Zamarelli and Tylor Zamarelli will miss her playful attitude.

Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Cecilia on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 9 to 10am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish – St. James Church Site, 2532 Burton St. SE Warren, OH 44484.

A Funeral Mass will follow on Thursday at 10am at the Church with Rev. Ed Stafford presiding.

Burial will follow at Pineview Memorial Park.
