Warren – Charles William “Charlie” Hudak, 87, of Warren passed away on Monday afternoon, September 8, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Charlie was born on November 30, 1937 in Warren, OH, a son of John and Anna (Danko) Hudak.

Charlie was a 1956 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. In 1958, he was drafted into the United States Army. Serving for two years, Charlie earned the rank of specialist while operating armored tanks. He was honorably discharged for his service.

The opportunity then arose for Charlie to take a machinist position at Packard Electric where he would work for 32 years until his retirement in 1997.

Outside of work, Charlie was a true outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing at his camp with family and friends. Charlie also enjoyed golfing and was fortunate to have made a hole-in-one at Forest Oaks Golf Course in 1999. He cherished the memories of traveling with his wife, going on cruise vacations and many casino trips to Las Vegas. Charlie was a member of St. William Parish in Champion, where he had many friends. Most of all, he lovingly supported his children and grandchildren. Whether it was being together at the camp or at home, Charlie cherished time spent with those he loved and he will be deeply missed.
