WARREN — Christina Mae Thompson, 47, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 29, 2026 at University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Christina was born June 25, 1978, in Warren, the daughter of Paul and Sally (Beskid) Stano Sr. She was a proud graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.
She began her career as an STNA at Windsor House, where she dedicated many years of service. Prior to her illness, Christina was employed as a receptionist at King Collision.
Christina had a love for decorating for every holiday, with Halloween being her favorite. She enjoyed shopping at garage sales, playing bingo, visiting casinos and spending time creating diamond art. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored. She also loved vacations to the beach, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and listening to Alan Jackson.
She was a member of VFW Post 1090 and the Moose Lodge.
Christina is survived by her husband, Daniel Thompson, whom she married May 26, 2012; her children, Alexis Stano, Rachel Stano and Joseph (Amy) Stano, all of Warren; her brothers, Paul (Victoria) Stano Jr. and Ronald Stano, both of Warren; her beloved granddaughters, Leia Stano and Rosemarie Braatz; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her cherished feline companion, Vanessa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Jennie Stano; and her beloved dog, Roscoe.
Family and friends may call Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 1 to 4 pm at the Peter Rossi and Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Road NE, Warren, OH 44483, where a service will follow at 4pm.
