Warren – Constance “Connie” Myers, 104, of Warren passed away on Tuesday evening, March 12, 2024 at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland.
Connie was born on February 20, 1920 in Warren, OH, a daughter of Andrea and Catherine (Cavaliere) Sartorio.
She was a 1939 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and went on to work for Packard Electric, retiring from the quality control department after 36 years.
On October 26, 1982, Connie married Ira Myers. They shared 27 years of marriage together until Ira’s passing in 2009.
Connie enjoyed playing cards, traveling, camping, cooking and baking. She was a member Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Parish and involved with Howland SCOPE. Most of all, she loved and cherished her family and friends. Connie will be dearly missed.
Connie will always be remembered by many loved nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Myers; a brother, Frank Sartorio; six sisters, Victoria Camarata, Lena Scopacasa, Bessi DiSario and Marge DiGilio, Antonetta Brutz and Josephine Leibert.
Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Connie on Monday, March 18, 2024 from 9 to 10am at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 3020 Reeves Road NE Warren, OH 44483
A Funeral Mass will follow at the church on Monday at 10am with Rev. Ed Stafford presiding.
Entombment will follow at All Souls Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Connie’s name to John F. Kennedy Catholic School, 2550 Central Parkway SE Warren, OH 44484.
A heartfelt thanks goes to the staff and visiting pastors at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland for their loving care towards Connie and also to the staff of Traditions Hospice for their care and guidance.
