David J. Campbell

Warren – David Jeffery Campbell, 73, of Warren passed away on Monday morning, February 9, 2026 at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center.

David was born on January 3, 1953 in Warren, OH, a son of Donald and Vera (Fedak) Campbell.

David was a 1971 graduate of Champion High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business from The Ohio State University, where he also met his future wife, Karen Bennett.

David had a successful career in business. He began working for Thermolink in the 1980s as an accountant and, 35 years later, retired as President of the company.

Outside of work, David was a sport enthusiast, especially when it came to the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Guardians and his Ohio State Buckeyes. If the game was on, David was sure to be watching. The only thing that was more important than his love of sports was his love, devotion and dedication to his family. David was always ready to support his grandchildren’s latest endeavors and he deeply cherished the time he spent with those he loved. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

David will always be remembered by his wife of 51 and half years, Karen (Bennett) Campbell of Warren; father, Donald Campbell of Warren; children, Christa (Sean) Newtz, Cara (Jeremy) Hoyt and David (Kristen) Campbell all of Columbus; grandchildren, Trevor, Abigail, Lilliana, Jackson, Alexa, Chloe and Mason; sisters, Daria (Dean) Fickes of Warren, Debbie (Rev. Drew) Clements of Willoughby and Valerie (Jim) Spoerl of Avon Lake; brother-in-law, Kevin Bennet of Georgia; sister-in-law, Karla Bennett and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Vera Campbell; sister, Denise Campbell and in-laws, John and Wanda Bennett.

Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to David on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 10am to 11am at St. John's Orthodox Church, 2220 Reeves Rd NE, Warren, OH 44483.

A Funeral Service will follow at 11am at the church and burial will follow at Pineview Memorial Park.
