David E. Peterson

Warren – David E. Peterson, 63, of Warren passed away on Saturday afternoon, November 30, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his family.

David was born on August 4, 1961 in Warren, OH, a son of the late Louis and Rose (Huntington) Peterson.

David was a 1981graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and went on to work as a diesel mechanic and then as a steel worker before his illness.

Outside of work, David enjoyed fishing, golfing and playing darts. He liked snow mobiling and cheering on the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. David enjoyed hanging out in his “man cave” garage, where he could be found tinkering on his latest project. Most of all, David was a family man, and he enjoyed teaching and spending time with his grandchildren. David’s helpful and loving presence will be missed by all who knew him.

David will always be remembered by his wife of 22 years, Annie Peterson of Warren; daughters, Jessica Buzzelli of Warren and Heather Taylor of Warren; seven loved grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Nancy (Michael) Kotapish of Warren and Debbie DeCiancio of Warren; in-laws, Carol (Bill) Byland of Warren, Karen McClung of Warren and Joseph Lesko of Michigan; many nieces and nephews and best friend, Randy Burnett.

Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to David on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 10am to 12noon at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel of Warren, 1884 North Road NE.

A Funeral Service and procession to All Souls Cemetery will follow at 12noon.
