Deborah L. Wells

Cortland – Deborah L. Wells, 74, passed away on Tuesday morning, December 31, 2024 at her home in Cortland.

Deborah was born on August 1, 1950 in Warren, OH, a daughter of Kenneth and Gloria Walker.

She graduated from Howland High School in 1968 and went on to work at Packard Electric for 30 years.

Outside of work and in addition to being a proud homemaker, Deborah volunteered for Trumbull Mobile meals alongside her husband Dewayne Wells. In her free time she loved traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Deborah will always be remembered by her four children; Dorothy (Scott) Sabatini, Penny Bennett, Glenn Wells, and Annjeanette (Rick) Richardson; six granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister.

Deborah was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Dewayne Wells, her parents Kenneth and Gloria Walker, her sister Pamela Johnson, in-laws, two brothers-in-law, and three nephews.

Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Deborah on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 9 to 11am at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel of Warren.

A Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 11am.
