Warren – Dolores Gollner, 90, of Warren passed away on Monday morning, March 24, 2025 at Gilette Nursing Home in Warren.
Dolores was born on June 27, 1934 in Punxsutawney, PA, a daughter of Andrew and Helen (Brudnock) Havrilla.
Dolores was a 1952 graduate of Punxsutawney High School and later moved to Warren in 1965. She worked as an assembler for Packard Electric and after 24 and a half years, enjoyed a well-deserved retirement.
Outside of work, Dolores was a dedicated parishioner of Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Warren. She was a member of the Parish Guild and the St. Benedict Auxilary group. Dolores was also a frequent QVC shopper and enjoyed vacations and the occasional trip to the casino. Most of all, she was loved and cherished by her family and friends and she will be deeply missed.
Dolores will always be remembered by her son-in-law, Jack Zizzo; step children, Robert, Michael, Jeffrey (Heidi) Gollner and Patty (John) Sadosky; grandchildren, Andrew (Abbey) Zizzo and Brittany O’Brien; step grandson, Jeffrey Gollner; great grandchildren, Anderson, Adalyn and Asher; sister, Agatha (Walter) Vilkinofsky; niece, Lisa (Marty) White; nephews, John (Jen) and Doug (Shannon) Vilkinofsky and great nieces and nephews, Andrew, Lauren, Eli, Nic, Alex, Kyle and Matt.
Besides her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Myron Gollner; daughter, Bridget Zizzo; son, Richard O’Brien and infant sister, Beverly Havrilla.
Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Dolores on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 10 to 11am at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel of Warren, 1884 North Road NE.
A Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 11am.
A private entombment will be in All Souls Cemetery.
