Donna Lea Dermer

Brunswick – Donna Lea Dermer, 79, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, February 9, 2026, with her loving family by her side.

Donna will always be remembered and cherished by her family and friends for her humility, kindness, and easy-going spirit. She was born on December 3, 1946, in Warren, the daughter of Harold and Caroline (Jarvie) Evans. Donna was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School.

Donna always made her family her greatest priority. She especially loved attending her grandchildren’s activities and was always their biggest fan.

She enjoyed spending winters in Florida as a “snowbird,” as well as taking trips to Disney and visiting casinos. Above all, Donna treasured the time she spent with her family.

Donna leaves behind her beloved husband of over 60 years, George E. Dermer, whom she married on July 17, 1965; her daughter, Staci (Keith) Heck of Medina, Ohio; six grandchildren, Amber, Aaron, Ashley, Gary, Gavin, and Megan; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by two daughters, an infant daughter and Shelli Henderson.

A private funeral service was held Monday at Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Road NE, Warren, with Pastor Russ Adams officiating. Burial took place at Niles City Cemetery.
