Edward W. Eckroate

Warren – Edward W. Eckroate, 65, of Warren passed away on Monday evening, February 2, 2026 at St. Joseph Hospital.

Ed was born on September 10, 1960 in Warren, OH, the son of William G. and Phyllis (Anderson) Eckroate.

Ed was a 1978 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and went on to attend Youngstown State University.

Ed began work at Packard Electric, where he stayed for 25 years, retiring from Aptive as a repariman.

Outside of work, Ed was a sports enthusiast, faithfully cheering on the Cleveland Browns and Cavaliers. He also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino. Most of all, he cherished his family and spending time with those he loved.

Ed will always be remembered by his fiancée, Colleen Adamski; father and step mother, William (Sandy) Eckroate; grandson, Carter; sister, Sherry (Brad) Phelps; niece, Taylor (Evan) Wachholz and nephew, Kyle Phelps (Derek Ross).

Ed was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Eckroate; mother, Phyllis Eckroate and sister, Debbie Eckroate.

Private services were held at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel of Warren.
