Faith C. (Chalop) Bonini

Warren – Faith C. Bonini, 88, of Warren passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, January 29, 2025 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Faith was born on May 16, 1936 in Warren, OH, a daughter of Milo and Mary (Mraovic) Chalop.

Faith attended Warren G. Harding High School and went on to work for Packard Electric until 1968; when she became a homemaker.

Faith and her husband, Ray, were faithful supporters of Harding High School and belonged to the Warren G. Harding Panther Touchdown Club (currently known as the Gridiron Club). Faith was known for her warmth, hospitality, sense of humor and good spirit. She was always helping others and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Faith will always be remembered by her son, Ray Bonini (Julie Smiley) of Columbus; grandchildren, Adam and Alexander Bonini; nephew, Brian Webster of Cincinnati, niece Cheryl Nutt of Courtland, cousins Seka Kaytes and Slobodan Ratkovic of New Jersey,  and close friends, Dori McCloud and Todd Mahaffey of Howland.

Besides her parents, Faith was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Raymond Bonini; brothers, Dan and Dimitros “Butchie” Chalop and sisters, Dorothy Reghetti, Mildred “Seka” Cindea, Lucy Pandelli and Nada Merriman.

Per Faith’s wishes, there will be no services and in lieu of flowers, family and friends are asked to do an act of kindness, help others and pay forward the love and generosity that Faith exhibited in her life.
