Frank was born on March 24, 1933 in California, PA, a son of Frank and Mary (Rozek) Spritzer.

Following high school, Frank entered into the United States Army where he served from 1952 to 1955. He was awarded an honorable discharge for his service.

Upon returning home, Frank worked for Packard Electric for 47 years, retiring in 1999.

Outside of work, Frank was a renowned baseball player, coach, and lifelong fan. He started playing baseball in 1955 at Packard Park and eventually turned coach for the AA league from 1968 to 1989. Even to-date, Frank would enjoy going to watch Scrappers games, the Pittsburgh Pirates and (his favorite) his great grandchildren’s baseball teams.

In addition to his baseball accomplishments, Frank was a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians since 1972 and a member of the Youngstown Magic Club. He also enjoyed golf and made a hole-in-one during his lifetime at Cranberry Golf Course in Champion. Frank enjoyed doing yard work, attending the local ITAMs and rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Most of all, Frank loved his family; especially cherishing his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Frank will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Frank will always be remembered by his daughter, Teri (Michael) Surin of Warren; son, Rock E. (Tracy) Spritzer of Walters, OK; grandchildren, Carrie Briscoe and Kelly (Andrew) Bailey and great grandchildren, Mila, Kade and Chase.

Besides his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Loretta (Cicero) Spritzer; a son, Frank J. Spritzer; brothers, John and Joe and sisters, Millie and Ann.
