Geraldine "Gerry" Rinehart

Warren – Geraldine “Gerry” Rinehart, 83, of Warren passed away peacefully, on Monday, August 12, 2024 at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, surrounded by her loving family.

Gerry was born on June 7, 1941 in McKeesport, PA, a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Veronica E. (Suchta) Skoczylas.

She was a 1959 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and went on to work for Ohio Lamp for 40 plus years.

Outside of work, Gerry was a parishioner of St. Cyril and Methodius Parish in Warren. She was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan and enjoyed traveling, listening to Elvis Presley, visiting casinos and working on puzzles. She was also a member of the Warren Slovak Club. Most of all, Gerry loved spending time with her family. Whether it was attending day-long double-header Indians games or just being together at the house, Gerry cherished the time she spent with those she loved. She will be deeply missed.

Gerry will always be remembered by her daughter, Bernadette Rinehart (Fay Gleason) of Warren; brother, Thomas S. (Peggy) Skoczylas of Warren; nephew, T.J. Skoczylas of Warren; niece, Rachel (Ryan) Tekac of Boardman; great nephews, Jacob and Tanner Tekac; dear friend, Harry; many loved cousins and grand dogs, Bruno, Jax and Sienna.

Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Gerry on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 11am to 12noon at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel of Warren, 1884 North Road NE.

A Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 12 noon with Rev. Christopher Cicero presiding.

Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery.
