Gloria Binion

Gloria Binion, 83, of Cortland, OH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Hospice of the Valley Hospice House.

She was born September 21, 1942, in Warren, OH, a daughter of the late Anthony and Frances DeFelice.

Gloria was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.

On September 1, 1966, she married William Binion. They spent 23 loving years together before his passing in March of 1990.

Gloria was known for her strong work ethic and spent much of her life working at jobs she truly loved. She started her career as the owner of Felice’s Beauty Salon, named after her lifelong nickname, “Felice.” She also worked at The Eagles Club for 25 years and later at McDonald’s, which became her favorite job because of the people she worked with and the friendships she made. Even following her recent hip surgery, one of her first questions was, “When can I go back to work?”

She enjoyed bowling and was a member of a bowling league. Gloria also loved the Cleveland Indians, breakfast dates at Perkins, collecting purses, displaying her magnet collection from the many places her family traveled, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sister, Linda Shockey.

Gloria is survived by her loving daughters, Tracey Yanci and Lori Binion; her grandchildren, Allison (Andrew) Steele, Anthony Scott, Meghan (Michael) Mannella, Samantha (Brett) Mawhinney, and Alyssa Scott; her great-grandchildren, Natalie, Amira, Giana, Michael, and Ellijuan Jr.; and two expected great-grandchildren, Erin and Matthew.

Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Gloria on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel of Warren, 1884 North Road NE. A funeral service will follow at 6 pm.

Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery.
