WARREN — Helen Efstathiadis, 71, of Warren passed away on Monday afternoon, November 3, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at the Hospice House of Poland.
Helen was born on July 22, 1954 in Polydendron, Greece, a daughter of the late Gus and Eleftheria (Jickess) Pappas.
After coming to the United States, Helen was a 1973 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.
In addition to being a proud homemaker, Helen worked for the Trumbull County Maintenance Department. Her true vocation was serving her family and being a caregiver to others. She had the gift of patience as she cared for the elderly, and her loving presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Helen will always be remembered by her husband of 47 years, Chris Efstathiadis, whom she married on July 23, 1978 in Greece; her children, Kitsa Efstathiadis, Ellie (Alisher) Guriev, Bobby Efstathiadis and Anna Efstathiadis (fiance, Ariel Tamayo); beloved grandchildren, Ariana Tamayo and Ameena and Abubakr Guriev; brothers, John (Susan) Pappas and Chris (Nancy) Pappas; sisters, Niki Tolios and Kelly (Chris) Karapetsas and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Helen on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 10 to 11am at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 429 High St. NE, Warren, OH 44481.
A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Constantine Valantasis and the Rev. Demetri Constantine presiding.
Burial will follow in Howland Township Cemetery.
