Helen M. Prince

Warren - Helen M. Prince, age 107 passed away Wednesday, Oct 22, 2025, at Shepherd of the Valley Howland.

She was born April 10, 1918, in Hubbard, Ohio, the daughter of the late Anthony and Louise Chicone.

Helen was an accountant, working together with her late husband, Angelo Choppa. She was a member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish – Blessed Sacrament, Warren. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life: dancing with passion, cooking with love, celebrating holidays with flare, and cherishing every moment spent with her family. Her heart was generous, her spirit nurturing, and her will, at times, delightfully unyielding. She loved deeply, cared fiercely, and brought warmth wherever she went.

Helen will be greatly missed and forever will be remembered.  She is survived by one daughter, Roselyn L. Spano of Warren; two grandchildren, Ellen Spano and Frank J. (Diane) Spano Jr. all of Warren; two great-grandsons, Wayne (Hope) Gore of Niles and Paul Gore of Warren; three great-great grandchildren, Liam, Scarlett, Anastasia.

In addition to her parents, Helen was proceeded in death by her first husband Angleo  Choppa; and her second husband Larry Prince; 8 siblings; son-in-law, Frank J Spano Sr.

Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Helen on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 11am to 12noon at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel of Warren, 1884 North Road NE.

A Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 12 noon with Rev. Christopher Cicero presiding.

A Private Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery.
