JoAnn (Rufo) Paugh

Warren – JoAnn (Rufo) Paugh, 95, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Ohio Living Lake Vista in Cortland.

            She was born March 24, 1923, in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Rufo.

            She had previously worked at Ohio Corrugating and Carol Style Center. She was a member of Christ Our King Church in Warren.

            She is survived by her two daughters Evelyn (Willie) Lewis of Howland, and Joyce Persing of Howland, a daughter-in-law Linda Paugh of Cortland, seven grandchildren Gary and Jeanine (Nick) Lewis, Lisa (Brett) Wargo, Michelle (Simmy) Paugh, Jerry (Kelly) Titchnell, Heather (Dan) Stirling, and Hollie (Kevin) Scott, fifteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

            She is preceded in death by her parents, husband L.W. “Bud” Paugh whom she married March 26, 1940, who passed away January 21, 1994, a son John W. Paugh, two brothers Dan and Joseph Rufo, and three sisters Denita Racco, Rose Tammaro and Louise Kreuzer.

            Family and friends may call Monday, September 3, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.           at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44484 and Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church 3020 Reeves Rd. NE Warren, Ohio 44483.

            A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Church with Rev. Peter J. Haladej officiating.

            Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.

            In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in JoAnn’s name to St. Jude’s Children Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

            The family would like thank Dr. Truong, and the staff at Lake Vista in Cortland.
