Josephine Catherine (Di Loreto) La Duca

Warren – Josephine Catherine (Di Loreto) La Duca, 103, of Warren, Ohio, passed away

peacefully at 11:15 pm on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at her home in Warren, with her

family by her side.

Mrs. La Duca was born in Collelongo, L’Aquila, Italy on August 20, 1921, daughter of

the late Mr. & Mrs. Antonio & Assunta Di Loreto of Warren, Ohio. A graduate of both

Warren G. Harding High School in the June Class of 1940 and Youngstown Business

College, Mrs. La Duca was employed by the Federal Government in Lordstown, Ohio

and Raritan Arsenal in New Jersey.

A loving and devoted wife and mother, Mrs. La Duca enjoyed spending time with family

and friends, walking, gardening, traveling, cooking and baking.

Survivors are a son, Joseph La Duca of Cape Coral, Florida, and daughter, Mary La

Duca of Warren, Ohio, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Anthony F. La Duca of Warren, Ohio, her

parents Mr. and Mrs. Antonio and Assunta Di Loreto of Warren, Ohio, her brother Loreto

Di Loreto, of Pleasant Hill, California, and her brother, Henry Di Loreto of Warren, Ohio.

There will be no calling hours. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 at

Pineview Memorial Park, 4049 Youngstown Rd., SE, Warren at 1:00 pm with Father

Christopher Cicero as celebrant.

Burial will be at Pineview Memorial Park.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Peter Rossi & Son

Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish (Blessed

Sacrament Church) 3020 Reeves Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
