Joyce Ann Nuzzi

Warren – Joyce Ann Nuzzi, 71, of Warren passed away on Monday morning, November 24, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital.

Joyce was born on May 25, 1954 in Warren, OH, a daughter of the late Fio J. and Helen (Letosky) Nuzzi.

Joyce was a 1972 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and went on to work for many years at Warren General and St. Joseph Hospitals. She retired as an insurance verifier.

Outside of work, and in addition to being a proud homemaker, Joyce excelled in cooking. She enjoyed trying new recipes, which she served to her family and friends, but also enjoyed eating out at many of the local restaurants in town Joyce also enjoyed watching the Hallmark channel, especially at Christmas, and was known for the occasional QVC purchase. Above all, Joyce’s family and friends were the center of her life. She cherished the time she spent with those she loved and she will be forever missed.

Joyce will always be remembered by her high school sweetheart and husband of nearly 40 years, Rick Sperko, of Warren; daughters, Gail (Reed) Gore (husband, Dennis) and Lora Reed, both of Howland; step children, Kristen (Sperko) Gurutto (husband, Steven) of Bradenton, FL, Justin Sperko (wife, Lynn) of Bradenton, FL and Rick Sperko Jr. (wife, Tracy) of Wisconsin; granddaughter, Ashley Gore; sister, Janice Clark (husband, Mike) of Howland; brother, Michael Nuzzi of Ohio and many loved nieces, nephews and fur babies.

According to Joyce’s wishes, there will be no services. Local arrangements are entrusted to the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel of Warren.
