Julie M. (Mussalow) Pissini

Warren – Julie M. Pissini, 67, of Warren, passed away early Thursday morning, March 20, 2025 at the Cleveland Clinic.  

Julie was born April 3, 1957 in Pocahontas Virginia, the daughter of John and Justine (Bise) Mussalow. Julie’s family moved to the Warren area when she was a young child, and she was proud to be raised and lived here the rest of her life.

Julie was a 1975 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and then earned her bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University. She was a member of the first graduating class of their Dental Hygienist Program.

Besides being a proud homemaker, Julie was employed for over 38 years as a dental hygienist working for Dr. Lee and Ralph Snelson along with Dr. George and Jon Saadey.

Julie was a member of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish-St. Mary Church and enjoyed working in her vegetable garden, canning hot peppers and going on vacation to the beach. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and was an excellent cook. She will be truly missed.

Julie will be dearly missed by her husband of over 44 years, John M. Pissini whom she married August 1, 1980, her children Michael (Ashley) Pissini, Anthony (Adrianna Heath) Pissini and Rachel (Cody) Adkins, her beloved grandchildren Prima, Giovanni, Agostino, Cali, Chole and another Baby Boy expected to be born in June, along with nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Julie was preceded in death by parents and her siblings Theresa and John.  

Family and friends may pay their respects to Julie on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 4:30 pm until 6:25 pm at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel, 1884 North Rd. NE, Warren, where a funeral service will follow at 6:30 pm with Father Christopher Cicero as celebrant.
